Some sick person stole my driver’s heated mirror in broad daylight from my car. I searched for some way to protect the mirrors and discovered these covers. I bought this ProKevLock Vehicle Side Mirror Covers with Lock to protect the mirrors of my new car. They are good, but too expensive for the design. The lock of one of the covers got damaged (almost 4 month after) and it does not work anymore. I will not pay $139 again because I need one cover. For the price the company should make excellent locks that last years and more easy to lock the covers inside the mirror. Since they do not have competition they can do whatever they want. I hope they improve this product and make it less expensive.

This is really the best thing ever. People kept stealing my side view mirrors so after the 4th theft I tried this. These covers save me. I no longer have problems with side view mirror thefts. I bought these covers in November 2023 and in February 2024 one of the locks got defective but all I used on it was WD 40 and the owner gave me instructions on how to fix the lock. I am very pleased. I would give this item a 5 star review if it didn’t stain my mirror covers after it rain and bled through it. It’s not a strong stain but you can definitely see it from up close. I don’t know if I was supposed to rinse them before using them or not. Due to that minor damage to my car is why I’m giving it a 4 star review. Also they should build the lock area with a rubber protection because if you aren’t careful while locking your mirrors with the proKev lock, you may scratch the paint of your vehicle. Thankfully, I have not. Since I bought this, my car has been protected from the local thieves. I would say, it’s worth buying it then paying hundreds of dollars on repairs because insurance companies won’t cover you for this even though you have full cover.

Looks well made, not easy to put on ,the system has to be tight and makes it difficult to lock. The mechanism will freeze during winter making it extra hard to lock and unlock , otherwise it woks as described. These mirror locks are the holy grail. I am so grateful that I decided to invest into this. I had gotten my mirrors stolen 2x in one month and the repair costs are ridiculous! I decided enough was enough, and I ordered the mirror locks. At first it was slightly confusing to get adjusted to, but once you get the hang of it, it just becomes part of your routine as a driver. My grandson was able to remove the lock from the covers, but one lock got lost. Send an email just to see if they sell it. The response was within a couple of minutes. I spoke with Nelson and FT, and he was able to help me get two new locks because he didn’t have my serial number lock anymore. I waited for 2-3 days I had my new locks and everything back to normal. This is really the best thing ever. People kept stealing my side view mirrors so after the 4th theft I tried this. These covers save me. I no longer have problems with side view mirror thefts. I bought these covers in November 2023 and in February 2024 one of the locks got defective but all I used on it was WD 40 and the owner gave me instructions on how to fix the lock. I am very pleased. Go ahead and purchase these covers and if you ever have any problems reach out to the owner either on Amazon or the company’s website. It works and will save you money in the long run.

Best Investment I’ve Made
These mirror locks are the holy grail. I am so grateful that I decided to invest into this. I had gotten my mirrors stolen 2x in one month and the repair costs are ridiculous! I decided enough was enough, and I ordered the mirror locks. At first it was slightly confusing to get adjusted to, but once you get the hang of it, it just becomes part of your routine as a driver. They are EXTREMELY secure and there’s no way for anyone to grab my mirrors again. Super happy with this purchase, if you live in a major city where any form of car theft is an issue in your area, I’d recommend grabbing these!! You won’t be disappointed and they’re worth every last penny.

Great protection for your vehicle
I would give this item a 5 star review if it didn’t stain my mirror covers after it rain and bled through it. It’s not a strong stain but you can definitely see it from up close. I don’t know if I was supposed to rinse them before using them or not. Due to that minor damage to my car is why I’m giving it a 4 star review. Also they should build the lock area with a rubber protection because if you aren’t careful while locking your mirrors with the proKev lock, you may scratch the paint of your vehicle. Thankfully, I have not. Since I bought this, my car has been protected from the local thieves. I would say, it’s worth buying it then paying hundreds of dollars on repairs because insurance companies won’t cover you for this even though you have full cover.

The set I received on one the lock is defective and the only way to get the bag off of my mirror was to cut the bag and now I’m stuck with the lock still on my car because I can’t open it up with the key

I’ve recommended this to several people. I had this for about a year and a half now. After having to replace my mirrors 3 times before. It worked well until a week ago the lock on one of covers was unaligned. Took about a week to get in touch with customer service. Which later was explained they were away on vacation. However, the owner actually called me and sent me the video to fix the issue. Someone tried to break the lock. Followed the instructions that were giving and I’m back to using both covers again. It’s a helpful product but not easy always to lock. The key hits a snag as you turn it.
There has been a rash of mirror theft from cars in the neighborhood. After mine’s were stolen I decided, no more!

It DEFINITELY can be cut
I saw mixed reviews and when we got it home we tried it out to test and with a slight poke the knife stabbed through.Hopefully the thought of being anti-thief is enough…

I haven’t been using these covers for very long, but so far, so good. They are pretty easy to locked on & unlock off the mirror frames, and they fasten on tightly which can really deter opportunist thieves who just want a quick buck with little time spent. All and all, they’re a helpful tool, and if you’ve had your mirrors stolen before, worth the price.
